Reviewing a Video Proof (in the New Proofing Viewer)

The HTML5 proofing viewer described in this section is available only in the Preview environment and only when reviewing video proofs.

If you cannot use the HTML5 proofing viewer as described in this section, consult your system administrator. The system administrator can enable or disable access to the new viewer, as described in "New HTML5 Viewer" in "General Proof Settings."

The following sections provide more information about reviewing video proofs:

Changing the Unit of Measurement of the Timeline

You can adjust the unit of measurement that is used in the video timeline. You can view the timeline in Time, Frame, or Timecode.

  2. Select from the following options:
Time: Displays the video timeline in minutes/seconds.

To enable the HTML5 viewer from the legacy viewer:

  1. In the legacy proofing viewer, click the Try new HTML5 proofing tool option in the lower-left corner of a video proof.

Because not all functionality is currently supported in the HTML 5 viewer, you might want to revert to the legacy viewer.

To disable the HTML5 viewer and use the legacy viewer:

  1. Click the Menu icon, located in the upper-left corner of the proofing viewer.
  2. Click Old Viewer.
