How do I know what my job role will be in Workfront? The Workfront job roles are based on license types. Not sure what license type you have? Check out this article for more information.
Do I need to take the quiz? The quizzes are available so we can report on who has watched the videos. If your organization wants to know that you have watched the videos, then you must take the quiz.
What are the recommended classes for each role? Check out this PDF to see the currently recommended classes.
If I am a Project Manager or Administrator, do I need to take the Team Member class? No. The content covered in Team Member will also be covered in Project Manager fundamentals.
Is there any training for Administrators of Workfront Proof standalone? Currently, there is no administrator training specifically for Workfront Proof standalone users. You may get value out of taking the Review & Approval Administration series available via webinar and video in Workfront Ascent.
Do you offer any training on Workfront DAM? Yes, all Workfront DAM training is available in Workfront Ascent.
Are you still offering test drives for your training? Yes, we will offer test drives for you to use throughout your training. Just email your request to email@example.com and be sure to include your name and company. We will send you instructions on how to use it.
Is Workfront Ascent replacing the live training classes? No, live classes will still be available through Workfront Ascent. But in addition to the live courses, you will be able to use video and text-based courses to go at your own pace.
Is there a chance that the seats will fill up for the live classes? Yes, but chances are slim. Each live class has room for 100 users.
When does registration close for the live classes? Registration no longer closes for any live training.
What platform are you using for live classes? We will be using Zoom for the live classes. Click here for information about Zoom system requirements.
Do I have to download Zoom to access the webinar? No, but we recommend it. If you cannot download the application, you can still view the presenter’s screen and access audio through a phone. See this article for more information on system requirements.
How are the new live classes going to differ from the live, virtual classes that have been offered in the past? The new live classes are shorter (30 - 120 minutes in length) and they will be demo-based, with the presenter explaining and showing Workfront features. A Workfront test environment will not be provided for each class, and hands-on activities will not be included.
Will I get charged if I don’t attend the live classes that I registered for? No, you will no longer be charged for live classes that you register for but do not attend.
How can I access Workfront Ascent? You can access Workfront Ascent by navigating to ascent.workfront.com. Sign in using the same username and password you use for support.workfront.com. If you don’t have login credentials, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. More information here.
How do I know if I already have an account that will let me into Workfront Ascent? Try signing in at support.workfront.com. If you are able to log in, then your account will allow you to create a Workfront Ascent account. If not, check out this article for more information.
Can I change my password for Workfront Ascent? Yes, if you use the same credentials for Workfront, then consult your organization’s policy to update your password. If you use a separate login to access the help/community site, use the instructions found here.
What does the Training Profile in Workfront Ascent control? The Training Profile controls the curriculum that is automatically assigned to you. By changing the information, Workfront Ascent will automatically change the course recommendations you see.
What can you see and do as a manager in Workfront Ascent? You can see a list of the users that have been assigned to you and what their current progress is, download reports, and even assign courses. Check out this article for more information.
Why isn’t my course listed as complete? Make sure that you click the “complete” button at the end of the course. You will need an 80% or higher to complete the course.
Can I take multiple programs? Yes, you can sign up for as many programs as you want. If the new program you want to take has courses you have already completed, they will already be marked as complete.
