Managing Work and Team Requests in the Home Area

The highlighted information on this page refers to functionality not yet generally available. It is available only in the Preview Sandbox environment.

NOTE The functionality described in this article is currently available in the Production environment as a beta. Highlighted sections are available only in the Preview environment. If you are unable to use Home as described in this article, contact your system administrator.

When work tasks and issues are assigned to you, they are listed on the Work List in the Home area. You can view, reassign, reply to, work on, or remove a request. Work requests in the Home area are not limited to issues associated with request queues.

Viewing a Work Request

  1. Go to the Home area in your Global Navigation Bar.
For information about accessing the Home area if it is not visible to you, see "Trying the Home Area."

Not Ready: Only requests that are not yet ready to start are displayed. These requests might have predecessors or task constraints that prevent them from being worked on, or the Start Date might be in the future.
Work requests assigned to you display in the left panel of Home.

  4. Select from the following options:
    • Convert to work request: Select this option to convert the work item back to a work request.
The work item is transitioned back to a request, and you remain assigned to the request.

    • Remove: Select this option to remove a request from your Work List.
You are unassigned from the request and the request is no longer associated with your name in Workfront.
