Configuring Default Proof Roles

You can configure the default proof roles that new users and guest users have to new proofs within the Workfront system.

This is the default role users are assigned to on a proof when the proof is shared with them.
The user sharing the proof can adjust this role at the time the individual proof is shared, as described in "Adding Users to a Proof" in "Sharing a Proof within Workfront."

NOTE The default role that you set for new users is assigned only to users who are created in the Workfront system after the role is set. The default role does not apply to existing users.

To configure the default proof roles for new users and guest users:

  1. Navigate to the Setup area in the Global Navigation Bar.
  2. Click Review and Approval

  3. In both the New users column and the Guest users column, select the default role you want to associate with both new users and guest users in the Workfront system. (This is the default role users are assigned to on a proof when the proof is shared with them. The user sharing the proof can adjust this role at the time the individual proof is shared, as described in "Adding Users to a Proof"in"Sharing a Proof within Workfront.")
The following table shows each role and the rights associated with it:[this is duplicated in "Sharing a Proof within Workfront"]
