Creating Users in Workfront Proof

 

You must have Administrator rights in the account to create new users.
For more information about rights, see "User Profiles and Permissions."

NOTE We do not recommend adding third parties to your own account. You can create Satellite accounts for your collaborators, as described in "Setting up a Satellite Account."

You can create a user from scratch or you can convert a Guest to a licensed user. 

Creating a User

  1. Do any of the following to begin creating a user:
    • Click the drop-down menu arrow next to the New proof button and select New user.

    • Navigate to Account Settings and click the New user button.

    • Navigate to the Contacts page, click the + New drop-down menu, and select New user.

      The New User dialog box displays.
  2. Set configuration options for the user, as described in "Configuring User Information."
  3. Click Create.

Converting a Guest to a User

Guests are users who do not have a licensed Workfront Proof account. If a Guest upgrades to a licensed user account, manually convert a Guest account into a licensed user.

  1. Navigate to the Contacts page.
  2. Locate the Guest who you want to convert to a user, click the More (three dots) icon, and select Convert to user.

  3. Set configuration options for the user, as described in "Configuring User Information."
  4. Click Convert to User.
