Configuring Default Proof Email Notification Settings

The information on this page refers to functionality not yet available in the Production environment. It is available only in the Preview Sandbox environment.

You can configure whether proofing users in your Workfront instance receive email notifications from Workfront when a comment is made on a proof.

Depending on the notification setting described in this section and notification settings in Workfront Proof, proofing users in Workfront can receive email notifications from both Workfront and Workfront Proof any time a comment is made on a proof. If users are already receiving email notifications from Workfront Proof, consider disabling notifications sent from Workfront to avoid duplicate notification emails.

To configure proof email notification settings that are sent from Workfront:

  1. Navigate to the Setup area in the Global Navigation Bar. 
  2. Expand Email, then click Review and Approval

  3. In the Proof Notifications in Workfront section, decide whether to enable or disable the option, Send emails from Workfront when a comment is made on a proof.
    When enabled: Users receive an email from Workfront when a comment is made on a proof.
    When disabled: Users do not receive an email from Workfront when a comment is made on a proof.
  4. Click Save.
