Personal Calendar Does Not Appear for a User

Problem

A Personal Calendar is not appearing for a user when their Calendar tab is loaded. Shared calendars are appearing for the user but their own personal calendar does not appear.

Solution

The code behind the automatic calendar creation works only when a user's calendar section is empty and the personal calendar is created automatically so that a user doesn't see an empty page. If a user has other calendars shared with them, the user's calendar section is not empty and the automatic calendar creation doesn't happen so the user personal calendar will not appear.

To address this:

  1. All the current calendars that have be perviously shared with the user need to be unshared with the user.
  2. The user's Calendar page needs to be refreshed/reloaded.

Once that is done the user's personal calendar will automatically generate and the previous removed/unshared calendars can be shared with the user once more.
