Setting Condition On Tasks

The condition update provides the user with the current condition of a task.

There are three conditions that you can set on tasks in Workfront:

  • Going Smoothly
  • Some Concerns
  • Major Roadblocks

You can set the condition of a task either automatically by updating the task status, or manually.

Automatically Setting The Condition Of A Task By Updating The Task Status

If you have already committed to working on the task (by clicking 'Work on It'), the condition is automatically set to Going Smoothly when changing the task status from 'New' to 'In Progress.'

For information about changing the task status, see "Updating Task Status."

Manually Setting The Condition Of A Task

  1. Click a task that you are assigned to for which you want to set the condition.
  2. On the Updates tab, click Update Status, then click in the field.
  3. Click the drop-down arrow next to either the current condition or the text, How's this going?
The current condition is displayed if you have already committed to working on the task (by clicking 'Work on It.')
