Identifying Issue Types


Users can view or select which types of issues can be recorded on issue forms. 


The default options for Issue Type are:

  • Change Order
  • Request
  • Bug
  • Issue

System Administrators can customize the names of issue types. However, only four can exist within the Workfront system. Users will select the type of issues to display on an issue form (for both issues recorded at the project and task level) on the Queue setup tab.


It is important to understand that setting Issue Types for a project does not create the project as a request queue is a separate process. To make a project a a request queue, see the creating a request queue help article.
