Accessing the Gantt Chart

The Gantt chart in Workfront provides a visual representation of a list of tasks. You can view the Gantt chart directly from the Task list on a project or directly from a Task report.

When information is updated from the Task list (for example, when dates and durations are updated in a project), it is automatically reflected in the Gantt chart.

The way that you access the Gantt chart differs depending on the object type you are viewing:

Accessing the Gantt Chart within a Project

  1. Navigate to the project for which you want to access the Gantt chart.
  2. (Conditional) If you are currently viewing the project in an agile view, change to a standard view so that the task list is displayed.
To change from an agile view, click the View drop-down menu, then click a standard view.
  3. Click the Tasks tab, then click the Gantt icon.

The Gantt chart for the project's task list is displayed.
  4. (Optional) Drag the divider between the list view and the Gantt view to determine the amount of screen that each view consumes.
