Opening Proofs in the Desktop Proofing Viewer

The information on this page refers to functionality not yet generally available. It is available only in the Preview Sandbox environment.

If you cannot open a proof as described below, contact your system administrator.

Opening Proofs from Workfront or Workfront Proof

You can open proofs into the Desktop Proofing Viewer from Workfront or from Workfront Proof:

NOTE: If you are prompted to download and launch the Desktop Proofing Viewer, follow the prompts to do so. You need to do this only once. For information about how you or your system administrator can change which viewer you use for proofing, see "Configuration Settings for Opening the Desktop Proofing Viewer" in the article, "Understanding the Desktop Proofing Viewer."

Opening Proofs from the Desktop Proofing Viewer

  1. In the Desktop Proofing Viewer, type your Proof URL
    For information about accessing proof URLs, see "Accessing a Proof that was Shared with You."
  2. Click Open Proof in the screen that appears.
