Installing the Desktop Proofing Viewer for Your Organization

The Desktop Proofing Viewer, which is designed primarily for proofing interactive content, is an application that must be installed on each user's local machine. As a Workfront or Workfront Proof system administrator, you can perform this installation. Before you do this, you must configure the system to launch the Desktop Proofing Viewer when your users open interactive proofs.

For more information about the Desktop Proofing Viewer, see "Understanding the Desktop Proofing Viewer." For information about the various proofing viewers, see "Understanding Differences between the Various Proofing Viewers." For information about the transition from the Legacy Proofing Viewer to the Desktop Proofing Viewer (for interactive proofs), see "Legacy Proofing Viewer to be Removed in 2018.3."
